HOUSTON - George Bush seems to have absolutely no idea of how many thousands of Texas Republicans have already withdrawn their support from him, and thrown it behind Congressman Tom Tancredo. This is proof that there is a God in Heaven, because a while back, when Tancredo was at the White House, and he was trying to urge Bush to secure our borders, he was thrown out, and as he was being escorted out the door, Karl Rove told him, "Never darken our doorstep again!" Tancredo was trying to tell Bush that he was alienating his own base, so it would be poetic justice indeed if Bush ends up having to hand the government over to Tancredo in '08. For anyone who wants our borders defended, and wants to do something, about the single greatest thing you could do would be to go to Congressman Tancredo's website, TeamAmericaPAC.Org, and make a contribution. As a genuine Political Action Committee (PAC), his organization is allowed to help finance the campaigns of other candidates. Tom is finding and financially supporting candidates for congress who will help us get our borders sealed and defended. He also runs radio ads all over the country for things like fighting amnesty. But all this takes money, and our adversaries are HEAVILY funded! So if you want to help, joining Tom's PAC is an excellent start.
This blog would also like to make a case right now for Congressman John Culberson (R-TX) for either VP, or a very high cabinet position. Culberson is on the House Ways and Means Committee, and he has introduced legislation saying that any bureaucrat who will not enforce this nation's immigration laws, will not get a paycheck! He says that bureaucrats don't understand much, but they do understand paychecks! Besides, John Culberson is my own Rep in Congress, and if he were Secretary of State, that would open up his congressional seat and I could run for it! (He he!) He has been one of the few congressmen, along with Tancredo, to have the spine to stand up against the arrogant elitists on the immigration issue, and I am very proud to have him representing my district. There is no way I would ever consider running for that seat as long as he is holding it. Bush should watch him carefully to see how a Texas Republican is SUPPOSED to behave! I think it was Aristotle who said, "If you want to know what virtue is, then watch a virtuous man."
See Joseph Farah's article:
Although I understand the frustration people have with Bush and the border, I do not think it is wise to become a one issue voter type person. Also, Mexico needs a stronger middle class if it is to avoid becoming a communist nation like Venezuela. I think giving people temporary passes is a good idea. If you think about it, the Mexicans will start to ask for more money and people will go back to hiring Americans. Sorry, but I won't be back.

I totally agree with you - Tancredo in '08!!! The comments by RepJ are naive - he needs to go live in Southern CA for a month. Oh, I forget - they have now claimed it is for Hispanics only so if he's white he's out of luck.
