HOUSTON - The corporate MSM is working hard to spread a lot of treacherous lies and rumors, to muddy up the waters. To me, one of the most damaging, is this absurd notion that it would be unconstitutional or illegal to place US troops on the border, and also that the military lacks the manpower for such a mission. For crying out loud, THAT IS THEIR PRIMARY DUTY! That is the whole reason the US military was formed in the first place - to defend the home soil from foreign invasion! How have things become so twisted? I am dismayed at the numbers of people I am running into who are actually falling for this garbage, and we must work hard to try to "de-program" these people. One of the best sites I have seen for specific info on exactly what assets would be needed for this mission is here:

In fact, this is such a good site I have made a link to it on my list.
I get angry when I see the Open Borders Treason Monkeys, like Bush and my own Senator Cornyn, claiming that it is an insurmountable task to defend a 1,900 mile border, and then they are not even challenged on that absurd claim. This must stop. I became very upset with Bill O'Reilly the other night because some activist made that ridiculous claim, and Bill not only gave the guy a pass on it, but he actually agreed with the guy! The only person I have seen challenge activists on this absurdity is Lou Dobbs - he is the man! This myth must die! Michelle, maybe you can help us get Fox News to start challenging people on this. La Shawn, maybe you can get MSNBC straightened out on this. We need to start attacking this myth very aggressively.
One fact I have never seen mentioned, on either a blog or the MSM, is that, even though the border with Mexico is 1,900 miles long, vast stretches of it are virtually uncrossable. These are rugged desert areas too vast to cross on foot, and there are no roads for vehicles. It could possibly be done with a caravan of camels, but the last I heard there is a shortage of camels in Mexico. Illegal entry into the US could be radically curtailed by simply bringing enough pressure to bear on those relatively few areas that are crossable, which is exactly what the Minutemen did in AZ. If you will notice, even those illegal entrants who circumvented the Minutemen, had to go many miles east or west of the San Pedro Valley to get to another crossable portion of the border. They must cross within reasonable proximity to a border town, or the degree of difficulty goes up exponentially. We need to somehow make the rest of the world aware of these facts. Some of you bigger bloggers, help me out here please. The MSM is getting away with murder on this "1,900 mile" myth!
